St. Louis trip

Sarah and I went to St. Louis last weekend to visit friends and attend a Cardinals game. We drove up on Friday. Longest trip ever. I had to stop at a McDonalds for an hour to do some work. We got into town around 2:30 or so and went to the St. Louis zoo! That was super fun. Glad it did not rain. Friday night we had dinner with Laura and her boyfriend Joe at a place called Chimichanga’s. The tornado missed us! All we had was some heavy rain.

Saturday morning we went to the Soulard Coffee Garden for breakfast. Mmmmm! That afternoon we went to a Catdinals game with tickets from Alexa. It was a great game until the darn rain. After the long delay the Cards lost. Saturday night we went to a few bars and hung out in Soulard.

Friday morning we met Romain, Sherry, John and Crystal for breakfast. It was great to see them. Romain gave me a powdered sugar bath! Haha

I’m so exhausted.

I spent the weekend in St. Louis with John and Romain while Sarah was in Chicago. She was with her friend Alexa. They went to a Muse concert and attended some St. Patrick’s festivities. My weekend was pretty chill. We hung out at home, watched movies and played some Xbox. We had some damn tasty BBQ from Pappy’s Smokehouse for dinner Saturday night. Awesome food. It was great to see everyone.

I did not sleep very well the past couple of nights so I skipped my hockey game tonight. I fell asleep when I hit the couch this evening when we got home. Stupid time change.

John and Crystal are getting married in November! More news to follow.

We won our game tonight 5-1. It’s weird, but when we have our entire team we seem to win our games. I played fairly well tonight. Towards the end of the game I had quite a few shots right in front of the net. Sadly, none of them went in. That goalie’s gear was huge! It was fun though. It’s always fun to win.

We are supposed to have our make-up game this Friday night at 7:30 PM. Not sure if I am playing yet. It depends on whether I can get off work on Friday. We are having an inter-office move that I might have to do. I really hope I can get the day off so I can drive Sarah to the airport in STL so she doesn’t have to go alone. I also want to hang out with John and Romain! We’ll see.
