Our team managed to squeak out a 7-6 overtime shootout win tonight to take third place. There were ten teams in the Spring B League and we were at the top all season. We had a really good team and an awesome goalie. Sadly he is headed back to Canada and won’t be around. Later this summer we are going to try to get the team back together for a tournament in August. The summer league start at the end of the month so get ready!

With the gift cards we received for Christmas, we used them to give our master bath a makeover. We had not painted it since we moved in, so  it was time! We bought all new towels, rug, shower curtain, trash can, paint and a wall cabinet. We also used the pictures Linda bought us for our wedding to give it some color. They match really well! Today was my last day at the office until January 4th. Holy crap it was busy too. The office let out a little early, but I had to stay an extra hour to try to wrap some stuff up. Wow, did this year blow by quickly. I have a feeling we are going to be super busy next year. I already have 5 meetings scheduled the week we all come back!

So glad the sun is out today. It has been really hard to wake up the past few days. Only four more working days until I’m off for 5 days for the Thanksgiving holiday. I cannot wait. I am so so ready for a few days off.
Tim and I will be decorating for Christmas and putting up the tree, which I’m really looking forward to. I love all the holiday decor, lights and general festive ambiance that the holidays bring.
