Romain’s family is visiting the US this month and they spent four days in Springfield this past weekend. Most everyone stayed at our house in the spare bedrooms. We had so much fun. Thursday night we grilled some pork tenderloin and drank on the back porch. We were up super late drinking wine, ow my head. On Friday we went to Stockton lake. Romain rented a pontoon boat and a waverunner. Holy cow, I forgot how fun a waverunner can be. I want one! We got some pretty good sunburns. …

We lost again, haha. I moved up to forward to try to get some offense going. No luck. I did have some great passes and we got close a few times. We just can’t seem to get it going. Our schedule changes up for the next three weeks. We will not play again until Wednesday, August 4th. The B/C tournament is August 6-8.. I will have the schedule soon!!

What’s new?? Haha. We lost again tonight, but played really well. Our passes were much better we just could get the offense going. I had an assist on our only goal. I also joined a team for the B/C Tournament coming up on August 6-8. Going to be a blast!

We lost tonight 7-3. With the week off and the super busy weekend I was dragging ass tonight. I had a few chances on goal, but did  not score. Oh well, maybe next week. I am still trying to figure out which team I will be on for the tournament in August!
Last Thursday and Friday night Sarah and I cleaned the house from top to bottom to get ready for Jami’s baby shower. It looked great! Whew!
This is going to be an interesting week at the office.

Sarah and I had one fantastic weekend! Friday night we went to Maria’s for dinner followed by the Art Walk in downtown Springfield. We found her a really nice dress at a store called Indie’s. She looked cute in it!
Saturday we got up at a decent time and headed to St. Louis for a Cardinals game. We got there a bit early and tried to find some clothes at the Galleria mall. The game started at 5:35 so we had just a short amount of time to get checked in …

We won our game 7-6 tonight. I had one goal in the second period. We had a few extra people to start the game putting us at 15 skaters. We actually ran 6 defense. That was pretty cool. I played back and we tried to limit our shifts to 45 seconds. The game was fun. We are off next week for the fourth.

We had another loss tonight 5-0. We just can’t seem to get some offense going! Next week we may try putting together a “power line” and see what happens. I had 3-4 nice shots on goal and managed to get a break=away or two but nothing ever came together. Drinks at Patton Alley were fun after the game!

We lost our game again tonight. Our team has quite a few brand new players so it’s sort of difficult to get some offense going. Most of our night was spend on defense. It’s still fun playing though. I pulled my groin again tonight. I need to start doing some exercises during the week the get loosened up!
